I’ve lived in Athens since 1996, long enough to know that every neighborhood has its own rhythm and every home tells you something if you slow down long enough to listen. I didn’t come to real estate through the usual route; I came through people, stories, and a life spent paying attention. Before I ever sold a house, I ran salons, worked in publishing, and built a business around understanding what people need even when they can’t quite articulate it.
That’s still my approach today.
I’m a realtor who listens first, notices the details others miss, and helps clients make big decisions with calm, steady confidence. I don’t rush people. I don’t overwhelm them. I don’t dramatize the process. I guide, I clarify, and I pay attention—to the home, to the market, to the moment you’re in.
My background in writing shows up in my work in ways people can feel. I write all my own listing descriptions because I believe a home should make sense in real life, not just on paper. A house isn’t a checklist; it’s a setting. A mood. A place where someone’s next chapter will unfold. Whether it’s a Normaltown classic, a Boulevard beauty, a quiet Oconee retreat, or something that doesn’t quite fit a category, I want people to feel something when they walk in—and when they read about it.
Clients come to me for strategy, but they stay because they trust the way I move through this work. I keep things organized, communicate clearly, protect your time, and step in with strength when the situation calls for it. I’m warm in my approach, but I’m steady where it counts. I’m not a loud or aggressive agent, but I am thoughtful, intentional, and quietly relentless on behalf of the people I represent.
After more than 10 years in real estate, I’ve helped over 150 families buy or sell in Athens and Oconee County. I’ve seen people through downsizing, relocations, first homes, last homes, divorces, blended families, investment seasons, and big life transitions. No two paths look alike—but every client deserves clarity, care, and someone who sees the full picture.
I’m evolving always—professionally and personally—and my business grows with me. These days, that means leading with steadiness, storytelling, and the kind of local insight you only get by living in a place long enough to love it. My wife, Lyric, and I have raised our son here. Our people are here. My work is rooted here.
If you’re buying, selling, or trying to figure out your next move, I’ll meet you exactly where you are. With attention. With strategy. With calm. And with a sense of Athens that comes from almost three decades of calling it home.
